1. PURPOSE AND SCOPE

This Policy governs the ownership, use, and protection of DIY (Do It Yourself) digital content offered by Patternland.

It includes patterns, instructions, guides, and associated materials.

It forms an integral part of the DIY Terms and Conditions and the Dispute Policy.

2. OWNERSHIP OF RIGHTS

Intellectual property rights belong to Patternland and/or the designer authors.

The purchase does not imply a transfer of rights, but rather a license of use.

3. LICENSE OF USE

The Customer acquires a license that is:

  • Limited
  • Non-exclusive
  • Non-transferable
  • Non-sublicensable
  • For personal and individual use only

It only allows the creation of garments for personal use.

4. PERMITTED USES

  • Download and store the content
  • Print patterns
  • Create garments for personal use

5. PROHIBITED USES

The following are prohibited:

  • Sharing content in whole or in part
  • Distributing it by any means
  • Publishing it on platforms or repositories
  • Using it in schools or workshops
  • Reproducing it for third parties
  • Commercializing derived garments
  • Adapting it for distribution
  • Using it in collaborative environments

Any concealed professional use for economic purposes is also prohibited.

6. PROTECTION AND CONTROL

Patternland may implement measures such as:

  • Access traceability
  • Detection of abusive use
  • Watermarking
  • Usage monitoring

7. TRACEABILITY AND EVIDENCE

Patternland may record:

  • Access and download history
  • User identifiers
  • Watermarks or digital fingerprints

Abusive use will be presumed attributable to the license holder.

8. LIABILITY

The Customer is responsible for any misuse, including by third parties.

This may result in:

  • Account suspension
  • Content blocking
  • Claims for damages

9. COMPENSATION

Patternland may claim:

  • The value of licenses used improperly
  • Loss of profit
  • Investigation costs

10. PROTECTIVE MEASURES

Patternland may:

  • Request removal of content
  • Block access
  • Inform third parties or platforms

11. DURATION AND TERMINATION

The license remains valid as long as these conditions are respected.

Any breach results in termination without the right to a refund.

12. FINAL DECISION

Patternland will interpret and enforce this Policy.

13. APPLICABLE LAW

It is governed by Spanish intellectual property law.
