1. PURPOSE AND SCOPE
This Policy governs the process of taking, validating, and using the Customer’s body measurements for garment production under the MTM (Made to Measure) model.
It forms an integral part of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale, the Adjustment Policy, and the Dispute Policy.
2. GENERAL PRINCIPLES
- Customer responsibility in taking measurements
- Mandatory prior technical validation
- Anatomical consistency
- Inherent technical tolerances
- Mandatory response within required timeframes
3. MEASUREMENT TAKING
The Customer must enter their measurements following the provided instructions.
The Customer declares that:
- The measurements are accurate
- They have followed the provided guides
- They understand the importance of accuracy
Patternland may provide tools or guides without assuming responsibility for their use.
4. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY
The Customer assumes responsibility for:
- The accuracy of the measurements
- Proper measurement taking
- The consistency of the data
Any error or omission is the responsibility of the Customer.
5. TECHNICAL VALIDATION
Patternland will carry out a validation process in order to:
- Detect anatomical inconsistencies
- Verify consistency
- Assess technical feasibility
Patternland may:
- Request confirmations
- Require new measurements
- Adjust technical criteria
- Temporarily suspend the order
6. REQUIREMENTS AND DEADLINES
The Customer must respond to requests within a maximum period of 72 hours.
Failure to respond will result in:
- The order being put on hold
- The inability to continue the process
Patternland shall not be held liable for delays due to lack of response.
7. ANATOMICAL CONSISTENCY
Measurements must be anatomically consistent.
Orders may be refused in cases of:
- Inconsistencies between measurements
- Incompatible data
- Implausible values
8. TECHNICAL TOLERANCES
Measurements are subject to tolerances due to:
- Body variability
- Manufacturing techniques
- Fabric behavior
These tolerances do not constitute a defect.
9. ACCEPTANCE OF MEASUREMENTS
Once validated, the measurements become final and are accepted by the Customer.
From that moment:
- They can no longer be modified
- They serve as the basis for production
10. BODY CHANGES
Patternland shall not be responsible for subsequent physical changes such as:
- Weight variations
- Body changes
- Posture changes
11. IMPACT ON ADJUSTMENTS
No adjustment will be carried out if the garment complies with the validated measurements or if the error is attributable to the Customer.
12. RECORDING AND TRACEABILITY
Patternland may record:
- Entered measurements
- Completed validations
- Communications
These records may be used as evidence.
13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Patternland shall not be liable for:
- Errors in measurement taking
- Uncorrected inconsistencies
- Results derived from incorrect measurements
- Customer physical changes
14. FINAL DECISION
Final validation rests exclusively with Patternland based on technical criteria.
