1. PURPOSE AND SCOPE

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the acquisition of DIY (Do It Yourself) digital products, including patterns, instructions, and related content via the Patternland platform.

These terms apply to any user (Customer) who purchases such content.

The following form an integral part:

  • DIY Intellectual Property Policy
  • Content Usage Policy
  • Dispute and Incident Resolution Policy

2. DIY MODEL AND SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE

Patternland sells digital content that allows the Customer to create garments themselves.

This includes:

  • Digital patterns
  • Technical instructions
  • Sewing guides
  • Educational content

Patternland validates and distributes content, which may be created by independent designers.

3. NATURE OF THE CONTENT

DIY products are digital content.

The Customer acknowledges that:

  • This is not a physical product
  • The result depends on their execution
  • Basic technical knowledge is required

The result may be affected by:

  • Materials used
  • Fabric behavior
  • Technical tolerances
  • The user’s technical skill level

These variations do not constitute defects.

4. PURCHASE PROCESS AND ACCESS

The purchase implies access to digital content.

Once accessed or downloaded, the service is considered delivered.

Patternland may log access for technical control purposes.

5. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

The Customer loses the right of withdrawal once access to or download of the digital content has begun.

6. LICENSE OF USE

A license is granted:

  • Limited
  • Non-exclusive
  • Non-transferable
  • Non-sublicensable

Strictly for personal use.

It is prohibited to:

  • Share content
  • Reproduce or distribute it
  • Upload it to platforms
  • Use it in classes or workshops
  • Use it for commercial purposes
  • Adapt it for redistribution

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Rights belong to Patternland or its designers.

No exploitation rights are transferred.

8. CLAIMS

Only claims related to:

  • Access issues
  • Technical errors in files

Will be accepted if they:

  • Are made within a reasonable time
  • Are supported by evidence

The following claims are not accepted:

  • Garment results
  • Size or fit
  • Interpretation
  • Technical execution

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Patternland shall not be held liable for:

  • Results obtained
  • Execution errors
  • Improper use
  • Incorrect interpretations

In no case shall it be liable for:

  • Indirect damages
  • Loss of profit
  • Loss of opportunities

Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid.

10. CONTROL AND MISUSE

Patternland may implement monitoring and traceability mechanisms.

Misuse may result in:

  • Access suspension
  • Account deletion
  • Legal action

11. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

These terms are governed by Spanish law.

Disputes shall be subject to the courts of the consumer’s place of residence.
